.about
I’m Carrie, a concept-driven interior designer interested in how people experience space.
My route into interior design hasn’t been completely straightforward. Before studying design, I spent almost ten years working in customer-facing roles, before returning to education and eventually graduating from Glasgow School of Art.
That experience has shaped the way I approach design. I’m interested in people, how they use spaces and the small things that can completely change how somewhere feels. My work is concept-driven, but I also really enjoy the process of working out how an idea translates into something practical and buildable.
I’m still early in my career and figuring out exactly where it will take me. I’m open-minded about the projects I work on, keen to keep learning, and looking for opportunities where I can contribute creatively while developing as a design
